Ace$o- Gotta Go (Prod. Marshall Borden)

This is the official end to the month of March on the scroll. Ace$o decided he would make an anthem for the summer, off of something to make you motivated. Two things should be taken from this track, one, expect Ace (and Haj) to do serious things on Aces' "Rise to The Top" mix-tape. Secondly, who the hell is this Marshall Borden kid? This is the second time in as many days his name has appeared on the scroll. Not only doing tracks for artist who have a larger backing but also for the ones still on the streets chasing their dreams. To all looking for quality sounds, SoundCloud search, Marshall Borden.

Chuck Revere- Make My Own

I promised you a track before I undergo a little light maintenance for the site. Chuck is back to close out the month of straight fire from him and every other MC that has blessed the scroll with new material. It would only be right that Chuck finished this months submissions out considering, this marks the one year anniversary for the blog and he was one of the first to the scroll. I promise you this song will shatter any expectations you have made before hearing it...

Skizzy Mars- Sideways

I did a little (cyber) crate diggin. This Skizzy Mars dude from New York can put it down. Just this week he released his latest project, "Phases", which I personally think has incredible artwork and even better music. Though I'm only two tracks deep, I stamp this tape as a "must listen" for everyone. On the tape he works with frat's favorite, G-Eazy, Princeton's own, Producer Marshall Borden and many other. Listen up..

Klassik- Forwhatever (Music Video)

Forwhatever reason I cannot tell you what it is about this video that makes it so attention grabbing. The song is very complete and the video adds a sense of complexity to such. Concept is on point and the visual is spectacular. Milwaukee's 2012 Artist of The Year and Milwaukee Magazine song of the year, watch the video.

W.O.L.F- eviL- Featuring Bee

TreeHouse Tribe's own, W.O.L.F offering us some knowledge over a J. Dilla Esq  tune. Supposedly last night, the TreeHouse Tribe had the likes of Tommy Hilfiger jamming to their tracks in New York. Too bad he didn't make his clothes for colored folks, I'm surprised he understands true Hip-Hop.

Levi Lennon- 420 in Keyport (5am in Toronto Freestyle)

When Drake dropped 'Started From The Bottom' recently, I thought this scroll would be flooded with freestyles and tracks by artist who proclaim that they once were on the bottom and have suddenly reached some sort of stardom. Not only we're their inhibition incorrect, I also did not receive any of those tracks, win-win. But this next track, Drake dropped over the past weekend; using a futuristic sound he poured every emotion into describing his current state (at the top) Levi also took into his hand to give you a taste of what is soon to come. Mind you, he's an artist. Usually rapping to something more Hip-Hopish, take a listen to Levi put his foot in this next track.

Fidell M.F

So it's safe to say, that "true" Hip-Hop isn't too prevalent in todays music, correct? The backpack, underground rappers aren't getting enough spin due to this generation of YouTube sensations or those catchy tracks flooding your brain, making you feel like you popped a molly after you get done with a workout. If  music has any sound like this next track, it would be safe to say, Hip-Hop will be extremely prevalent in the near future.

A4H Exclusive

For all writing and literation purposes, I need you to apply the "Rappers Wanna Be Ballers"theory to the following text, as I turn the an analogy into a interesting update on the NewLaw, Goosebumps II project. For the 2007-2008 NBA Season, the Boston Celtics had an atypical off season, bringing together two perennials all-stars, giving their roster three future Hall of Famers'. Doc Rivers was in fear of a clashing of ego's as the three have not played together or played with players of their caliber during their careers.

In effort to unify the team before the seasons start, Doc and the Celtics took a trip to South Africa. The trips purpose was to help the team find its image and guidance for its upcoming season. During the trip, a team slogan, ubuntu, was formed and used a sign of togetherness throughout the season. Maybe this won't apply 100%, but you should understand my logic while trying to piece this story together--work with me. The NewLaw clique is almost as diverse as an NBA squad and defiantly as vast as the Wu-tang clan; You, him and her all apart of group. Naturally when it comes to maintaining a Hip-Hop group, ego's will clash(though there is no record of this within) and schedules will cause conflict in finishing a project.

To find extra motivation during the recording process, Deb, decides it would be enlightening to take a trip to the Big Apple to link up with Chris Styles, a young, unsung producer. The Brooklyn bred producer has worked with the likes of 50cent and other great MC's, Styles pays hommage to the great modern era producers like Barry Gordy and Quincy Jones, who laid the blueprint to producing. Due to studio policy, no video cameras are allowed to be in the studio during the sessions, as to there is unreleased material.

Ferg explained the atmosphere to both be healthy  as well as enlightening. Rehashing on prior work relations he has had with Styles, Styles brought Ace Hood and Brooklyns' own Uncle Murda to the studio learn as well as to work with the NewLaw MC. The latest has been reported that the GBII project is more than halfway done, though there was a slight delay in the project due to one of the members, successfully, welcoming a new life to the entourage. If we are lucky, we may see both Uncle Murda and Ace Hood on this coming release for New Law.

In other news...
