Forty is the first in a series of promotional releases from Chicagoland rapper Defcee leading up to the fall release of his new album, Damn Near Grown, which includes guest appearances and production from NoName Gypsy, Saba and Joseph Chilliams of PIVOT, Otis of Milo & Otis, Jus Love, and Sev Seveer.

Who can resist a hungry Jersey spitter? Your never really sure what you're gettin into when you turn on to a Jersey MC. Are you getting lyricism? Aggression? Genuine Hip-Hop? Or just crazy metaphors and punch lines to make you hot for a little minute until the next rapper steals your style. I still haven't figured out what this dude Manolo Franklin has got in store, but I'm sure he got crazy flow, and he defiantly ripped this original Bad Boy classic beat.

RAGELIFE- Ride

RAGELIFE releases the third track on the way towards their debut release. "Ride" is a humble reflection on not having a reliable mode of transportation and the expected inevitability of it arriving in the near future. The cruise worthy production of the piece is provided by ID LABS. Progress can be a slow process, but on the way, you might as well enjoy the Ride. You would figure being voted the 7th nicest city in the United States, would essentially places the ranked among the worlds safest and more affluent destinations. Defiantly no place for thorough Hip-Hop to be produced; truthfully, you're surprisingly mistaken. This is a (hidden) gem I found via Facebook of one Kyle Rapps hailing from the most attractive town in all of the United States, Princeton, New Jersey.

Ace$o, Haj and originator B.G. hit the stage at Trenton's 'Hottest In Da City' Showcase earlier this month.
